Sam Crossley, PhD

Welcome! I am a geologist working in Planetary Science.
I study the petrology and geochemistry of meteorites to understand how planets, moons, and asteroids are formed.

I am a research scientist working in the Lunar and Planetary Laboratory at the University of Arizona. In this role, I am leading interdisciplinary investigations into the diverse physical and geochemical pathways of planetary differentiation across different nebular environments in the early Solar System. I also work with optical scientists to develop novel methods for nonlinear optical microscopy of rocks and minerals.

Please note: I do not identify meteorites online.
